Photography for Peter Yung began when his high school technological design teacher Daniel Kunanec recommended the class visit the Distillery District for design inspiration. Armed with the family point and shoot camera and a newfound sense of adventure, Peter recorded his travels to the trendy pocket of Toronto.
Photography whould resurface in his life when he bought his first film camera at the beginning of his second year studies at UofT Scarborough and even managed to land an event photography position at the student union that same year. The camera had struck frame #2.
Four years later, photography for Peter had grown from expressing simple snapshots to acquring a new philosphy, a new language. He has changed the face of campus life at UofT Scarborough through his photography and inspired many students to take up the hobby and get involved.
